Clarity through Doodling

I have started a new portrait in graphite and to have a break I frame some of our art. Yesterday I could not get the measurements to fit for a mounting. Feeling frustrated I turned my focus to making pizza dough and playing with soft pastels. It is such a good feeling, not actually knowing what will come to life on the paper. Without thinking I began to draw a small black circle, which grew into this eye. And then the solution came to me! I Love Big Page Doodles!
