It’s the 28th October and we had huge flakes of snow falling for over an hour, making packing the car interesting. We had a 4.5 hour drive north to Spring Creek just outside of Blenheim. Vineyard Country, so grateful I don’t drink any more – what a fun distraction that would be!
Today we are settling in to our new housesit on a lavender farm where we will be gardeners, cat and cow carers for 5 weeks. A wonderful place to draw and do the final preparation of the manuscript for The Attic – A World Between Worlds for publication. From suburbia to the country, such a different environment and lifestyle. Nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, surrounded by vineyards and a river to explore.
