Time to move on.

Sitting at a familiar cafe in Feilding, Beyond Coffee Cafe & Restaurant provides a comfortable space for us to write and draw and enjoy good coffee of course! This is the last day of a 6 week housesit on an amazing property with the most beautiful animals who have become dear friends. Packing up is always sad, especially after a period this long, we get to know the animals really well. The upside is, the owners have invited us back to do a 2.5 month housesit in May! It will be beautiful time of year – colourful autumn leaves, the scent of wood fires.

Onwards we go! Tomorrow we catch the Cook Strait Ferry from Wellington to Christchurch in the Sth Island of New Zealand, and a housesit of two dogs and four cats for three weeks.
