End of summer dahlias.
Daisies, Inca lilies, roses, and so much more… With so many beautiful flowers, the gardens of our current housesit in Lincoln are inspiring for watercolour painting.
I started learning to draw again three years ago and it is an amazing journey that keeps evolving. I would never guessed on that day I would be even trying watercolour paints! Keeping a daily journal of paintings, I have discovered how these little pictures are playful and help unravel my mind. They off me a contrast to the fine detail of graphite portraits and are actually influencing a shift in my techniques. Little splashes of colour are dripping into my drawings!
