On the Road Again – Reefton.
On a break between housesits, we have been exploring Reefton. It has been 6 years since we last stayed here and the town is flourishing. Lots of new businesses, cafe’s, galleries and great walking trails. We even got to see the local Christmas Parade! Favourite hangouts – The Tea Rooms & Steptoe’s Coffee Emporium.

Marlborough (Blenheim) Library – Te Kahu 0 Waipuna.
One of our favourite places to visit. The architecture of this building is practical, aesthetically beautiful, & comfortable. And the selection of books is amazing. Lots of nooks and rooms to sit and read or study.

End of a housesit.
Its always a little sad when we start to pack up. After being in one location of over 5 weeks, you get to know people and a good sense of a place. Blenheim is a town that has captured our hearts. Friendly, safe, relaxed and welcoming. No traffic lights and cars actually stop to let…
