Mon’s Art

I began drawing to illustrate the characters in The Attic, a series of stories I had been writing since 2017. In March 2023 I attended a casual art class at Feilding Art Centre and did my first portrait of Molly. Since then I have been drawing every day and have created more than 80 drawings. Enjoy the journey of the on going development of my art.

This is Nanny, a Maori Medicine Woman/tohunga, who becomes an instrumental influence in Molly’s journey.

Ungali, third sister, is the Guardian of Community, families both blood and soul. Nurture and growth.

Amnidra, fourth Sister, is the Guardian of Self Care. She reminds us of the importance of caring for our mind, body and spirit through yoga, breathing, meditation, exercise, walking in nature, massage.
