On the Road Again – Reefton.
On a break between housesits, we have been exploring Reefton. It has been 6 years since we last stayed here and the town is flourishing. Lots of new businesses, cafe’s, galleries and great walking trails. We even got to see the local Christmas Parade! Favourite hangouts – The Tea Rooms & Steptoe’s Coffee Emporium.

Marlborough (Blenheim) Library – Te Kahu 0 Waipuna.
One of our favourite places to visit. The architecture of this building is practical, aesthetically beautiful, & comfortable. And the selection of books is amazing. Lots of nooks and rooms to sit and read or study.

We have made many friends through housesitting, some of them were even the owners! These animals have an innate was of communicating with us…

Both are good ways to connect with the artist within, and bring creative energy into our day. When I write in the morning, it clears my mind and the day flows. On the occasional (and now…
