Eyes are a Window to the Soul. Number Five Cafe, Templeton, Christchurch, New Zealand. I love how John has captured the tear drop, graphite is such a pleasure to draw with. My pen doodle was a challenge as there is no erasing when drawing with a pen. Priming the pump for starting my next portrait.

Cafe Hopping Southwards 19-20.08.25. Picton – Kekerengu – Kaikoura – Cheviot – Rolleston. Morning Coffee at Le Cafe, Picton. Calmer weather for travel, but still quite wild on the coast north of Kaikoura. Love the architecture of The Store Cafe at Kekerengu. Good food and coffee too and the view!!
