I love drawing these portraits, whether they are furry friends or human friends. Capturing the eyes is so important for me, a window to the soul, and has always been the central focus of my art since I first drew Molly. What an amazing journey these drawings have taken me on from the first one I drew in March 2023 at a Have A Go Art Workshop at Feilding and District Art Centre. Eris was my first tutor and has made such an impression in my heart. Now she is the manager of the centre! And doing an awesome job. I know our paths will cross again, very soon…
