Walter & Hudson – such loveable characters! John and I each did a drawing of the dogs at our last housesit at Ashley, Sth Island New Zealand. A nice gift to leave for the family.
There is a nice sense of familiarity when we do a return housesit. The three cats here at Spring Creek are a little tamer than when we were here at the end of last year. It took about three days for them to remember us, and come in for a cuddle morning and night. Timmy keep his distance. There is a new herd of cows, young heifers who were a little skittish at first but are also getting used to us.
